When you first connected your client, you are prompted on whether you wanted to allow access to local resources such as printers and disk drives. If you chose Block/Deny or None, it remembers this setting going forward and will not have access to local printers and local drives until corrected. Knowing that you play musical desks for now, this could’ve been done by someone else and you are the lucky recipient of the issue. However it is a quick fix.

 

To address this issue for both printers and drives, while connected to the VDI, click on the toolbar at top center

 

 

Click on Preferences and make sure your settings match the following tabs. Once you have completed this, you will need to Log Off (not the Red X) and log back in for changes to take effect. Let us know if you need assistance on this.

 

 

 

These settings will allow the virtual desktop to interact with your local resources for printing and file copy tasks.
